Alpes 2030 – Emblem

The official emblems of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Alpes 2030 were unveiled today, 18 June. Inspired by the idea of “a mountain revealed through light,” the two logos share a common visual language designed to celebrate both the majestic landscapes and the unique light of the French Alps.

According to Edgar Grospiron, President of the Alpes 2030 Organising Committee, the two emblems have been conceived as a unified identity, symbolising the close connection between the Olympic and Paralympic Games while reflecting the natural beauty, energy, and character of the host region.

Grospiron also highlighted France’s distinguished Olympic heritage, pointing to Chamonix 1924, Grenoble 1968, Albertville 1992, and most recently Paris 2024 as powerful examples of the nation’s ability to deliver world-class sporting events.

“We know how to organise major events. We have proven it,” he said. “We have the expertise, the people, and the infrastructure.” He further emphasized that the mountains of the French Alps are already among Europe’s most celebrated winter destinations, providing an exceptional backdrop for the Winter Games in 2030.
