Torino 2006 – Paralympic Mascot "Aster"

Designer - Pedro Albuquerque

As snowflakes are unique, so are the athletes participating in the Paralympic Games. This idea is echoed by Aster, the mascot of the Torino 2006 Paralympic Winter Games. Designed by Pedro Albuquerque, the complexity and uniqueness of the Paralympic mascot represents the unique way an individual can practice sport, and also their unique way of life.
