St. Moritz 1928 – Lettering

Designer: unknown

On the occasion of the II Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz 1928, a graphic symbol with the Olympic rings on top was designed. The special feature was multilingualism: depending on the addressee, the graphic symbol was depicted on official letterheads of the Winter Games in German, English or French. The rings were drawn completely differently as well. This graphic symbol is not recognized by the IOC and therefore not an Olympic emblem.
