Emblems
Each Olympic Games has its own Olympic emblem, which is a design integrating the Olympic rings with one or more distinctive elements. They are created and proposed by the Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (OCOG) of the host country. The symbol of the Olympic rings was created by Pierre de Coubertin in 1913. Since the Olympic Games of 1916 became victims of World War I the Olympic flag with the 5 rings was first used in Antwerp 1920.
