Tickets
The tickets are further testimony of functionality, information, technology, design and aesthetics. All this on minimal surface. Furthermore they are credentials of time and style. Newer tickets for the Olympic Games are equipped with visual codes making usage easier. To understand this codification and realize the differences several tickets are necessary. That’s why I use to collect tickets of all disciplines and sometimes even of the same discipline on different days. Since Atlanta 1996 tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies are designed totally differently. Tickets are very popular collectors’ items. In my collection there are more than 700 tickets.
