Printed Material
Officially printed materials of Olympic Games are manifold. They are produced from the phase of application 10 years ahead of the games up until the publication of the Official report two years after the games. In this time span tons of paper are being imprinted such as books, programmes, guide maps, regulations etc.
The biggest challenge is to find all these prints. Normally they are being disposed of after the Games.
The following items from Athens 2004 shall provide you with an impression of how vast the printed materials of those games were, although they represent only a fraction of it all. There are more than 230 items of these games only in my collection.
